Wild Fields Brewhouse, a new brewpub in Atascadero, is a place for everyone to enjoy.

The brewhouse was founded by husband and wife Ryan and Jacque Fields, who have an accumulated 23 years of experience in the craft beer and service industry.

The couple felt Atascadero was the perfect location to raise their family and begin their brewery dream as Ryan grew up on the Central Coast and Jacque is from Orange County. The Fields relocated to Atascadero in 2018 where they together built their business plan and made their dream into a reality.

"The beer industry is evolving and I think it's evolving in a really positive way where people are expecting fresh and well-done beer" says CEO and co-founder Jacque Fields," That is just a natural progression as a craft evolves and becomes more honed in on, and my husband's amazing at making beer so I think we are going to do alright."

The couple opened the brewhouse in early December 2019 and will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, Jan. 10.

"You're gonna get all house-made craft beer that's all well done. We also carry wine and cider, non-alcoholic craft beer, sunshine soda and all that jazz, and then we have a full menu that's all based on sausages, " Fields says.

Wild Fields is being called more than just a brewery, as there is a variety of food, beer, wine and even games.

"Wild Fields Brewhouse brings family entertainment combined with date night all in one place from the games to the bowling! A wonderful addition to our Downtown that complements our hometown family feel in Atascadero," says Heather Moreno, Atascadero Mayor.

The bar is constructed with re-purposed bar stools and a bar top made of 102 year old cedar that was cut down from the neighboring Sunken Gardens about two years ago.

Wild Fields Brewhouse is located at 6907 El Camino Real, Atascadero. The ribbon cutting ceremony begins at 5 p.m., Friday. Wild Fields will be celebrating with $1 off house beers and free bites to try out their menu.
