Turner's Outdoorsman opened its doors in Santa Maria a few months ago and the lines have been seen outside the store on a daily basis.
Turner's Outdoorsman replaced Tacti-Cool Guns and Gear, which closed after the owner said he could not compete with California’s restrictive gun laws.
The waiting period to buy a gun is usually 10 days but the process has been slowed. The shop's website states the wait time to get into the store could be up to two hours.
