Firefighters had to extricate a person from a car following a solo crash in Santa Maria Saturday evening.
First responders say it happened near South Broadway and Jones St., at the Santa Maria Car Wash.
According to a post on Twitter, one person was airlifted to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital via Cal Star with major injures.
The Santa Maria Fire Department posted information about the crash on Twitter just after 9:30 p.m. Saturday.
