Residents in Orcutt are showing their support for a local donut shop after the owner says business declined when Krispy Kreme opened.
Several community members decided to visit the donut shop on Friday after people started talking about it on social media.
Owner of the Golden Donut, Houth Hak, says she was worried about the new competition, but is overjoyed to have so many people support her local donut shop.
"I love it. Thank you for everybody that support me, like today, they bought all my donuts," said Hak.
The Golden Donut is located at 4850 S Bradley rd.
