Parking in Downtown Paso Robles has been a hot button topic for years.

This past August, new parking rules went into effect meaning parking now comes at a cost. You have to pay-to-park between 10th and 14th Streets and Spring and Pine Streets.

The first two hours are free, but it costs $1 for each additional hour. The rule is enforced Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

A town hall meeting is set for Tues., Feb. 11 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Public Safety Center. That's located at 900 Park Street.

There will be a presentation on the downtown parking program and parking statistics for on and off street parking. Those in attendance can also share their feedback with the police department.

If you can't make the town hall meeting, don't worry. You can also share your thoughts at the Paso Robles City Council meeting on Mar. 3. at 6 p.m.
