The area of Atascadero is experiencing power outages, according to the Pacific Gas & Electric Company's outage map.
It first began at 8:51 p.m.
PG&E officials said the outage initially affected 4,209 people, but only 1,151 were affected as of 11 p.m. on Oct. 21.
PG&E employees are on-scene, and currently working to restore power to customers.
As of now, PG&E officials said there is not an estimated time of restoration until the cause is identified.
