The San Luis Obispo city council is set to discuss the next steps toward building pickleball courts at Mitchell Park.
In December 2020, an application for a grant was approved.
On Tuesday, Feb. 2, the city will meet to discuss approval and fund appropriation. After that, a design for the courts may come by Spring. The city also plans to address enhancing safety at the park, including improved lighting.
