Concrete slides at Pismo Beach, taking people from the pier plaza to the sand below, are open once again.
The slides opened up in September as part of the Pismo Beach Pier Plaza Project but were closed shortly after.
The City attributed the closure to maintenance and on Thursday, told KSBY News routine maintenance by the slide’s manufacturer had been performed and was complete.
Some people have reported injuries, including bruised tailbones, head injuries and sprained ankles, saying there's not enough time to slow down before the slide ends.
The city previously said it was processing two injury claims.
