Many residents reported power outages near Avila Beach Sunday evening around 5:45 p.m.
According to the PG&E Electric Outage Map, nearly 200 customers are without power.
It is unclear what caused the power outage, but according to the map, PG&E is looking into the matter.
PG&E says "Our preliminary determination is that your outage was caused by an equipment issue."
Power is expected to be restored by 11:59 p.m. according to the utility website.
