Prescribed burns are scheduled this week in parts of San Luis Obispo County.
State Parks says the brush pile burns at the eucalyptus forest at Montana de Oro and the pine forest at San Simeon State Park are part of fuel reduction and forest management projects.
They're set for Wednesday and Friday and could start as early as 7 a.m. with the last fire being started around 5 p.m.
Another burn involving about 100 acres could happened Thursday or Friday in Hearst San Simeon State Park.
