San Luis Obispo County leaders are inviting community members to comment on air quality at the Oceano Dunes.
The SLO County Air Pollution Control District claims the off-road vehicle area is a public nuisance and stirs up excessive levels of particulate matter, ultimately creating a health concern.
The APD want to see emissions reduced by 50 percent over the next five years.
On October 1, the APD will host a meeting for community member to review their 2019 draft of the annual report where you can ask questions and submit comments.
That meeting starts at 6 p.m. at the South County Regional Center.
