Righetti High School's second annual haunted house opens this weekend.

This year's theme is "Twisted Carnival."

There are 11 spooky rooms and everything was put together by the students.

"The main focus is on a clown named 'Bubbles' and he has gone crazy and he's escaped," explained Makai Copado, Righetti High School freshman and "Bubbles" actor. "He's going on this rampage of stealing, getting people lured into the carnival and taking them."

The haunted house will be open Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 19 and 20 and Oct. 26 and 27.

Tours are scheduled from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. for younger kids, and the haunted house is open from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. for those who'd like a bigger scare.

Admission is $5 and parking is free.

Righetti High School is located at 941 E. Foster Rd. in Orcutt.
