Authorities are asking for help finding a missing Paso Robles teen believed to have run away.

The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office says Hayley Perucca is a victim of child endangerment and has been missing since May 22.

The 16-year-old was reportedly not at her home in rural Robles Robles at the start of the investigation and the sheriff's office says her family has been uncooperative.

Perucca may be with friends in the Paso Robles area, investigators say.

The sheriff’s office is hoping to find Perucca and “place her in a safe and protective environment.”

Anyone with information on where she may be is asked to call the sheriff’s office at (805) 781-4550 or Child Welfare Services at (805) 781-KIDS.
