Santa Barbara County Fire Department responded to a structure fire around 7 a.m. Sunday on the 7900 block of Rio Vista Drive in Goleta.
There are no reported injuries.
According to Capt. Daniel Bertucelli of the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, smoke was initially reported coming from the garage inside the home. The person who reported the fire said they believed the fire to come from the dryer.
Firefighters extinguished the fire from the dryer and confirmed all occupants were outside of the house.
Crew members remain at the home to continue salvage efforts, said Bertucelli.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
