Local Santa Barbara contestant Will Breman performed on 'The Voice' Monday night, competing for a spot in the finale.

Monday night was 80's night on 'The Voice'.

"I am not from the 80's," says Breman in an interview with NBC, "but my mom raised me on a lot of Blondie and Duran Duran...it's not that I relate, but there is a part of my heart that loves that style of music."

Breman performed a duet with fellow contestant Ricky Duram, singing "Your Love" by the Outfield.

For his solo, Breman performed "Locked out of Heaven" by Bruno Mars.

Breman's voice coach, John Legend, said he believes this is the song that will get Will into the finals.

After Breman's performance, Legend said he wore a blue jacket to support Will and his 'Blue Crew' fans.

"The blue crew has been insane, the fact that six months ago I was just scraping by as a musician and now I am here is just a testament to how great this platform is," says Breman, "all of these people that have gotten behind me and are behind me on the cause, thank you guys, it really means a lot."
