The Santa Barbara Police Department is looking for an at-risk missing teen from Carpinteria.
Cristina Castro, 17, was last seen in the area of Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital wearing tan-colored hospital scrubs.
Anyone who has seen Cristina or has information on her whereabouts is asked to call 9-1-1 immediately.
Castro is described as approximately 5'8" and 140 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
Her father says Cristina walked away from the hospital, where she was on a mental health hold, at about 4 a.m. She also reportedly takes medication.
He says she had been in Carpinteria at a youth home for just a few days before going missing.
Cristina's family plans to be in Santa Barbara on Friday to look for her and distribute flyers throughout the community.
