Drivers in Santa Maria could experience delays starting Monday because of the city’s annual street maintenance surface seal program.
The project starts Sept. 9 and could run until mid-October.
Several streets will be resurfaced during this time including:
- Battles Road
- Carmen Lane
- Sonya Lane
- Enos Drive
- McClelland Street
- McCoy Lane
- Fairway Avenue
Some residential neighborhoods will also be impacted with road work. Those neighborhood ares:
- Carriage District
- Adam School Neighborhood
- Country Club South
- Crossroads South
Several other small streets will also be resurfaced.
The work includes the removal of existing road stripping, placement of a surface seal and traffic stripping.
The project costs about $1.9 million.
