The City of Santa Maria Recreation and Parks Department is calling for local bands to apply to perform at the annual Summer Concerts in the Park.
According to a press release, interested bands must submit a CD, biography, high-resolution photo or an electronic press kit on a flash drive and a completed application to the Recreation and Parks Department located at 615 South McClelland Street.
The deadline to apply is 5 p.m. on Friday, March 6.
The city's Summer Concerts in the Park Series will take place mid-June through mid-September.
Family-friendly bands from a variety of music genres are encouraged to apply to perform.
