Scotty's Bar & Grill in Pismo Beach is closing their doors on Aug. 26.
Owner Arpan Smith said because of the COVID-19 pandemic and lack of sports, they have to close the bar.
The bar has been around since 1997 and was purchased by the new owners in 2015.
Smith said they were doing well for a few weeks when they were allowed to reopen with reduced capacity, but these hopes were dashed after having to shut down again.
"We are really going to miss Scotty's because it is a reasonably priced place to come socialize for the locals," Brenda Critzer, Pismo Beach resident, said.
The owners encouraged people to come to say goodbye one last time in their Facebook post.
