A warning from San Luis Obispo police after two attempts were made this week to take deposits from bank drop boxes.
Police say string and sticky tape were used to try to 'fish' money from the deposit boxes.
If you can make deposits during business hours, that's the best way to avoid your deposit from potentially being fished.
As always, if you see something suspicious, you're encouraged to report it to police as soon as possible.
