A local veterans organization was awarded a $10,000 grant from the Bob Woodruff Foundation.
The money will be used through a partnership with Vons, according to the President of the SLO Veterans Service Collaborative Alan McKean.
Veterans can receive $50 food vouchers redeemable at the grocery store.
The Collaborative was started four years ago and now has more than 190 service providers.
