SLOPD: Man sexually assaulted girlfriend's 15-year-old daughter

A man is facing charges in San Luis Obispo after police say he sexually assaulted his girlfriend's 15-year-old daughter.

San Luis Obispo police say they responded to the report at about 6:30 p.m. last Thursday. April 2.

After interviews with the teen and possible suspect, identified as Martin Gonzalez-Flores, police say the 55-year-old was arrested for multiple charges, including criminal threats, lewd act upon a child, forced oral copulation of a minor and sexual penetration by foreign object.

Gonzalez-Flores was booked into the San Luis Obispo County Jail. Police say after learning of additional information Monday about the case, the suspect's bail was increased to $1 million.

Jail logs show Gonzalez-Flores remained in custody as of Wednesday morning.

Police are not releasing any other information about the case at this time.
