The Board of Education plans to discuss possible future learning plans for the Santa Maria-Bonita School District at a meeting on June 24.
In a statement to KSBY, SMBSD Public Information Officer Maggie White said the district is working on a few potential plans based on guidelines from the California Department of Education and the Santa Barbara Public Health Department.
White said the district has not determined any single plan as guidelines and recommendations are frequently being modified and updated.
White said the district is working to ensure quality learning for students and a healthy work and learning environment for all staff, students and families.
