Some events for the Vintage Paso Zinfandel Weekend (Zinfest) will be canceled due to coronavirus concerns.
Event organizers are canceling the "Z After Party" tasting and Zinposium seminar booked for the Castoro Cellars.
More than 20 wineries and more than 250 guests were scheduled to attend the tasting at the ballroom of the Allegretto Vineyard Resort March 20th.
Paso Robles Wine posted in a Facebook message that potential credits or refunds for these events are being worked out.
"Our wineries are taking precautionary measures to make sure their guests are safe and not put in positions that could compromise their health," the Facebook post said.
Three Zincursions (with about 20-25 guests) will still take place in outdoor settings.
Even with some of these events canceled, the Paso Robles Wine Country will remain open for business.
