After losing Kobe Bryant--and eight others--in a tragic helicopter crash on Sunday, people are honoring the man and his career the way they know how: By buying his gear.
As of today, both Champs Sports and Footlocker at the Santa Maria Mall have been completely wiped out of Bryant gear.
"It's just a sad day; after what happened last Sunday, I mean, people are buying a lot of merch, a lot of his logos. You know, like that hat I have right here. I bought it like three years ago. I'm really blessed I finally got that one," said shopper Jose Aguirre.
