Work to repair a damaged storm drain will affect waterfront traffic in Morro Bay this week.
City officials say a storm drain that crosses Embarcardero Road north of Beach Street has failed, causing damage to the roadway.
Work to repair the storm drain and damaged roadway is expected to take several days to complete.
In the meantime, city officials say traffic on Embarcardero will be detoured in both directions through the adjacent parking lots.
