Residential street sweeping and related parking enforcement resumed Monday in Santa Barbara.
City officials are posting signage in neighborhoods to notify the public.
According to the Public Works Department, street sweeping is beneficial for the aesthetic of the streets and improves air quality. It keeps debris and trash out of storm drains, creeks and the ocean.
