The Superior Court of Santa Barbara County is honoring 22 graduates of the Santa Maria Adult Treatment Courts Tuesday.
Graduation starts at 2:30 p.m. at the Santa Maria Veterans Memorial Building.
Officials say this is the 73rd Commencement of the Santa Maria Substance Abuse Treatment Court programs and the 52nd Commencement of the Santa Maria Prop 46 Court Program.
Graduates will receive certificates of completion and a chance to talk about their experience in the court program.
Organizers have invited special guests to speak at graduation and congratulate the graduates.
Ten of the 22 graduates have completed the Solutions Track Court Calendar program that helps justice involved homeless individuals find homes.
All of the graduates went through 6 to 12 months of programming including intensive treatment, probation, supervision and court reviews.
Program officials say they encourage sobriety, recovery and stability. Successful participants could get their charges dismissed and or early termination of probation.
