The California Highway Patrol arrested a suspected DUI driver in Paso Robles Sunday.
CHP clocked the driver's speed at 101 MPH in a 65 MPH zone.
The motorist was arrested in the westbound lanes of Highway 46 east at Almond Drive.
According to the citation, the driver, whose name has not been released, was taken into custody.
CHP says the driver's blood alcohol content was more than the legal limit of .08 percent.
The driver was also cited for driving on a suspended license and having an open container of alcohol.
CHP asks motorists to be careful while traveling on roadways and to call 911 to report suspected DUI drivers.
