The CEO of Tenet Health Central Coast did a special flyover for the company's two San Luis Obispo County hospitals on Wednesday.

Mark Lisa is a pilot and was joined by a couple of other local pilots in planes from the Estrella Warbirds Museum.

They flew over Twin Cities Community Hospital in Templeton and Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center in San Luis Obispo to honor hospital workers.

Nurse Allison Paulson said the flyover was a nice break from being inside the hospital.

"It was a great celebration for Hospital Week and Nurses Week to see the flyover," she said. "It was super exciting for me because both my grandfather and my father were pilots, so it was a fantastic tribute to the community and our area."

The Tenet Health flyover happened about an hour after four fighter jets with the California Air National Guard flew over Central Coast hospitals.
