The Paso Robles Police Department has arrested four individuals in relation to charges of burglary, possession of a stolen vehicle and evading police.

According to officials, a Paso Robles resident found a Hispanic male inside his garage Saturday shortly after 5 a.m. The male, identified as Ricardo Magana, opened the garage door and was attempting to get into the victim's car.

Officials say that during the confrontation, Magana ran back to a black Ford Edge that was waiting for him in front of the residence.

There was also a Hispanic female identified as Christina Rogers in the driver's seat. A 16-year-old woman was also seen in the backseat of the vehicle, said police.

Officers say the vehicle fled the area and a short pursuit ensued. The suspects eventually parked the vehicle in the driveway to a residence on Laura Way and fled the area.

The police department says the vehicle was cold plated and had an unreported stolen license plate affixed to the rear bumper.

Magana, Rogers and the juvenile were later located in the area and arrested, said police.

During their investigation, officers say they learned of a fourth possible suspect, Joel Nunez, whom police located and arrested outside of Walmart in Paso Robles.

"The investigation is still unfolding as we are trying to piece together this case," said police in a Facebook post. "If you were a victim of a theft last night, lick your wounds, and call us."

The police department is strongly encouraging Paso Robles residents to lock their vehicles.
