Contractors are just a couple of weeks away from pouring the deck for the new Marsh Street bridge in San Luis Obispo.
The bridge is located between Osos and Santa Rosa streets.
The old bridge was more than 100 years old and in 2008, was found to be structurally deficient.
Work to replace it began in May. The entire project is expected to last about nine months.
This week, city officials said contractors are working to set up supports so concrete can be poured.
