Firefighters responded to reports of a vegetation fire at Lopez Lake Sunday night.
According to CAL FIRE SLO, the fire broke out at approximately 11:20 p.m.
It was reported smoke was visible from Vista Lago. Forward progress of the fire was stopped early Monday morning at approximately 2.6 acres.
Fire officials say campgrounds were not evacuated and firefighters were able to keep the fire well away from campsites.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
