Wilshire's Hope Chest Thrift Store in San Luis Obispo is reopening Monday after being closed since March due to the pandemic.
Customers will be required to wear face masks, practice social distancing and have their temperature checked before entering the store.
The thrift shop is also accepting donations every Tuesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. -2 p.m. by appointment only.
The manager of the thrift store says safety is her number one priority.
"When considering the changes we would make to reopen our store, the first priority was safety," said Jenann McLennan, the store manager of Hope Chest Thrift Store. "Safety for our volunteers, our staff, the customers and donors so we're following all city and county regulations regarding safety."
The store is opening Monday at 10 a.m. and is located at 445 Higuera St.
Hope Chest proceeds go to assisting uninsured and underinsured Wilshire Hospice patients and their families.
