A young black bear was removed from a yard in Cuyama on Friday.
According to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, the bear was tranquilized and taken to the nearby hills to be released.
Fire officials say the bear was seen playing in a water sprinkler at a nearby church before settling down in someone's yard.
Firefighters reportedly assisted California Fish and Wildlife officials with the removal of the bear.
