Twitter users are feeling hot and cold in a new debate sparking online about what temperature your thermostat should be set at.

A survey from Consumer Reports shows that the perfect room temperature for your home while you’re sleeping is supposed to be at 82 degrees. This is because they say the warmer temperature would contribute to a lower electric bill and save a homeowner money in the long run.

Meanwhile, the National Sleep Foundation says you should keep your bedroom temperature between 60 and 67 degrees. They say the lower temperature helps your circadian rhythm and a warmer temp can cause you to become more restless while trying to sleep, creating an interruption in your sleep cycle.

While there is no determined temperature to keep your thermostat at, Consumer Reports advises homeowners to keep your house at 78 degrees at the lowest. They also suggest leaving it at 85 degrees when you leave your home.
