Nike says it temporarily sold out of Bryant-related merchandise from its online store.
A spokesperson is contradicting earlier reports the company removed the products on purpose.
In fact, new versions of the popular Kobe 5 Protro shoes are scheduled for release in early February.
Nearly a quarter of current NBA players wear Bryant’s sneakers.
