Pacific Gas and Electric said thanks to the conservation efforts by its customers, there will be no rotating outages the night of Aug. 19.
PG&E will continue to be on standby through Aug. 20, waiting to hear from the California Independent System Operator as to whether outages are needed.
The utility asks customers to continue to conserve energy — especially from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.
