Café Roma is celebrating its 40th year in San Luis Obispo next month.

During the COVID-19 pandemic and stay-at-home orders, the restaurant is offering non-contact takeout every day from 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

A new special menu is posted online with dinner options for one to four people.

They also offer sauces for customers to take home to cook with their own pasta.

"The community has been amazing," said Marco Rizzo, Café Roma owner/manager. "We had people bring us masks, we had people give very generous donations and tips for our kitchen crew, people have been very kind and gentle and very helpful."

The restaurant is normally closed on Sunday, but this sunday they'll to be open for Easter with a menu including everything from short ribs to favorites like lasagna and ravioli.

A three-course Easter meal costs $28 per person.

Pick-up will be from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The deadline to call in your order for an Easter meal is this Friday.
