A local business has shifted business models to keep the doors open during the pandemic.

Glasshead Studio in Atascadero opened last summer offering classes in fused glass, mosaics and stained glass.

Owner Lisa Falk says before the pandemic, the studio was a perfect venue for team building, children’s birthday parties and girls’ nights out, but over the last two months they’ve changed to offering to-go mosaic kits.

"People have everything in the kit except the glue and they can make their own little mosaic at home, so that's kind of kept me afloat,” Falk says.

She says people can still buy glass from the store or she'll work on commission pieces.
