We can expect a few scattered showers into tonight. And Saturday looks to be the quiet day to get out and about before rain returns Sunday into Monday.

Forecast confidence has gone up about this system, but interestingly it really hasn't changed much. Looks like 1-2" of rain will cover most folks but a few areas could even see more than that.

There is a cut-off low off the coast currently spinning away. It finally picks up some easterly momentum and arrives Sunday morning, but the heaviest activity will be in the later afternoon and evening into Monday.

This is a warmer system than the last and snow levels are actually pretty high, above 5500ft.

I think the low kicks out by Tuesday however there is still another trough approaching, this one from the PacNW. A low drops into the area on Wed-Thu but this system is colder and not very well supplied with moisture. Also the track of the low looks a little further north. I think we pick up more scattered showers, but doesn't look nearly as prolific as the system for Sunday and Monday (high side might be .25").

Next Friday looks warmer and dry.
