Some cooling in the forecast the rest of this week

It is an interesting pattern for the rest of the week. More clouds and cooler temps should continue to impact the area through Friday. An area of low pressure looks to cross over the ridge of high pressure in The West and throw a cold front through the area on Thursday. The interesting element is that some Sw flow aloft should develop which will draw up some some clouds from the SW. Between the two temps will take a hit however I don't think we'll see actual rain from the event, maybe some mist and coastal drizzle.

Friday we will see a little extra wind, however it is more likely Saturday and Sunday will see better clearing and warming with 70s and 80s returning to the coast, the warm air should linger into Monday when marine clouds and onshore flow re-develop.

Models continue some optimism about rain developing on Thursday the 21st. Not a guarantee but something to watch.
