Templeton junior cheerleader Korah Lipsit is participating in the 2019 London ‘s New Year’s Parade.
She was recently selected as a National Cheerleading Association All-American nominee. That led to being selected to the NCA All-American Team that will participate in the parade. Lipsit represents the Varsity Spirit All-American Cheerleaders, Dancers & Spirit Performers.
Varsity Spirit All-Americans include high school cheerleaders, dancers and spirit performers who qualified at one of the following Varsity Spirit summer camps: Universal Cheerleaders Association, Universal Dance Association, National Cheerleaders Association, National Dance Alliance and United Spirit Association.
Lipsit is a tri-athlete and competes in basketball and track.
“I was very surprised because it’s my first year doing cheer for the high school,” said Lipsit. “I haven’t done cheer since eighth grade in youth and I wasn’t very serious about it. I’m more serious about basketball and track but I like dancing, I like having school spirit, and decided to do cheer.”
