State Insurance Commissioner Dave Jones is expected to release the total insurance loss figures for the January 9th mudslides Monday at 11 a.m.
The release marks the first data to be shared about insurance claims reported for residential and commercial losses following the mudslide. Local disaster recorders report that dozens of homes and businesses were destroyed or damaged during the slide. They released an interactive map, showing what areas were hit hardest here.
The press conference will be live streamed on the state commissioner’s website.
