Caltrans and the City of Arroyo Grande Community Development are holding a public workshop about the Brisco-Halcyon Road Interchange Modifications Project Thursday.
The project proposes modifications and improvements to the US 101 intersections at Brisco-Halcyon Road, East Grand Avenue and Camino Mercado. Officials said the project is meant to provide congestion relief, alleviate queuing and improve the flow of traffic on local streets near US 101.
Development staff have designed two alternatives that are being considered for approval.
Residents are invited to give input on the project at a public meeting Thursday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the City Council Chambers.
