NW winds will pick up in the afternoons over the weekend keeping temps in a pretty mild range. 60s and lower 70s at beaches with low to mid 70s in the coastal valleys and lower 80s inland. Any night and morning clouds will clear quickly when afternoon winds pick up. Winds Saturday look to be 15-25 from the NW in the afternoon. Sunday’s afternoon winds could even be higher near the coast with NW winds 20-30mph.
Offshore winds develop later Sunday into Monday, but more of an impact in southerns CA than locally.
The offshore Monday doesn’t last long, by mid-week the winds turn around onshore and more coastal clouds return but local temps should remain mild.
Late next week is a bit of a question, there will be a lot of cold Canadian air in the middle of the country. The question is how far west does it extend. Either way near normal temps and a deeper than usual marine layer expected.
