Clouds will increase tonight and just before midnight rain should start falling in the NW portion of SLO county. A weak cold will pass thru the area between midnight and 8am with showers ending late in the morning.

Total rainfall should be light to .30″

Stronger northwesterly winds will return Tuesday afternoon into Wednesday so temps will stay a touch below normal before rebounding Thursday and Friday behind offshore winds. Interior areas could even hit 90 Friday while the coast should get into the lower 80s. The hot weather doesn’t last long because low pressure and strong NW winds return Saturday and pull temps back down.
