The wind advisory now in effect for Santa Barbara County will last through 9 p.m. Sunday. Northwest to north winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 40 mph.

San Luis Obispo County is also looking at windy conditions but gusts are staying below advisory levels.

North winds should limit the marine layer cloud coverage moving forward. Partly cloudy to sunny skies are expected through the week.
Cooler temperatures continue along the coast and in adjacent valleys. Significant warming starts on Monday through mid-week. Daytime temperatures will reach mid-70s on the beach, low 80s in coastal valleys, and near 90 degrees inland.
