After a cooler week temps set to warm quickly into the weekend

Good morning Central Coast!

As we kick off the morning some offshore flow has developed, this is limiting marine layer intrusion to our region and is making for a clear morning.

While there is a few small pockets of fog, their extent is limited to a few spots in the Santa Ynez Valley and into Lompoc.

Temps this morning are along the same lines, 50s are widespread. Grab that layer on the way out the door.

Today the lack of marine influence will bring a massive change to our interior valley temps. Areas around Paso Robles (and most of the interior valleys) will heat up 10 or more degrees today compared to Wednesday. This will bring interiors to the 90s, coastal valleys to the 70s and beaches will stay in the 60s.

Friday will continue the warming trend as offshore winds banish the marine layer and a strong high pressure dominates the south.

The high pressure will slowly back into the region and kick temperatures up for the weekend. Saturday and Sunday will bring triple digit heat chances to the interiors and will increase temps by the coasts as well.

Early next week temps will cool a bit and will eventually bring temps back to the 80s in the interiors, coastal valleys into the lower 70s and the interior back into the 80s.

Have a wonderful Thursday Central Coast!
