ORIGINAL (4:00 p.m.) - CAL FIRE SLO is on scene of a wildland fire near Rocky Canyon and Halcon Road near Atascadero.
Firefighters say air and ground resources responded.
The fire burned a 50 x 100 spot according to a CAL FIRE SLO tweet.
Fire crews say forward rate of the fire has been stopped.
